Dengan adanya Pembinaan karakter Building diharapkan peserta didik SMA Negeri 2 Pacitan dapat menerima manfaat dan diterapkan dalam keseharian. Selain itu hal yang lebih penting adalah terjadinya pembiasaan yang dapat dilakukan. Pembiasaan tersebut pada akhirnya akan membentuk karakter yang kuat bagi peserta didik sehingga berguna nantinya pada saat mereka di luar lingkungan sekolah. Bagi peserta didik, sangat penting untuk mendapatkan pendidikan karakter. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat akhlak dan sifat terpuji bagi peserta didik. Kepandaian di bidang pendidikan saja belum cukup tanpa bekal moral dan karakter yang kuat. Agar saat mahasiswa terjun di masyarakat nanti tidak terjadi penyalahgunaan ilmu yang dipelajari selama sekolah.
