Pada hari Jumat, 9 Februari 2024, SMA Negeri 2 Pacitan menyelenggarakan kegiatan Siwo Jiwit yang bertujuan untuk merindangkan sekolah dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman bagi para siswa-siswi. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program sekolah yang dijalankan oleh SMA Negeri 2 Pacitan. Semua warga sekolah wajib membawa pohon untuk ditanam.
Sebelum kegiatan menanam, dimulai dengan kegiatan senam pagi bersama. Kegiatan Siwo Jiwit diawali dengan penanaman pohon di halaman depan sekolah, halaman tengah dan halaman belakang sekolah. Para siswa-siswi, guru, dan staf sekolah bersama-sama menanam berbagai jenis pohon, seperti tanaman pucuk merah, pohon pule, pohon ketapang dan tanaman bunga lainnya. Penanaman pohon ini diharapkan dapat menambah ruang hijau di sekolah dan membuat suasana belajar lebih sejuk dan teduh.
Selain penanaman pohon, kegiatan Siwo Jiwit juga diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan lainnya, seperti:
- Pembersihan lingkungan sekolah: Para siswa-siswi bersama-sama membersihkan sampah dan kotoran di lingkungan sekolah.
- Pembuatan taman: Para siswa-siswi membuat taman kecil di beberapa sudut sekolah dengan menanam bunga dan tanaman hias.
- Penyuluhan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan: Para siswa-siswi mendapatkan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan hidup dari narasumber yang berkompeten.
Kegiatan Siwo Jiwit berlangsung dengan lancar dan sukses. Para siswa-siswi tampak antusias dan semangat mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran para siswa-siswi tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan hidup dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman di sekolah.
